Take a selfie for #MarchForMeals
#MoreThanAMeal – #MoreThanASelfie
If you’re unfamiliar with the lingo, a selfie is a self-portrait photograph, typically taken with your smartphone and shared via social media.
It’s easy to help, whether you’re a volunteer or community supporter. Just print out this flyer.
You can take a selfie while volunteering on a Meals on Wheels route, visiting family, or anytime!
Okay, I’ve taken my selfie. What next?
Selfies can be emailed to Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org with preferred name and any text you’d like to accompany your post. Alternatively, you can post your selfie via your own Facebook or Twitter account by using the hashtag #MoreThanAMeal and tagging Berks Encore (@BerksEncore) in your post.
How does my selfie help fight senior hunger?
Meals on Wheels is #MoreThanAMeal, and we know that your selfie is much more than a photo! Your selfie can help us raise awareness about senior hunger and spread the word about March for Meals and the impact of the Meals on Wheels program. Senior hunger and isolation is often a “hidden” probably in our neighborhoods and even in our own families. Help us bring this issue to the forefront so we can ensure we can provide our community’s homebound seniors with continued support.
