Berks Encore @Night programs provide informational and educational programming to those who work or are unavailable during the day. The program’s evening sessions allow  families and caregivers of seniors to receive important information about the aging process and issues that affect them.

The Berks Encore @Night series focuses on topics such as Medicare, powers of attorney, asset protection, and long-term living options. The sessions generally last an hour or longer to provide time for questions. The date, time and location for each program will be determined.

Thursday, January 30 from 6-8 p.m.

Thursday, February 17 from  6-8 p.m. 

Wednesday, March 18 from 6-8 p.m.

Thursday, April 30 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. (two sessions)

This evening program will address Medicare and touch on Social Security for those just turning 65, introduce you to how to enroll in the system, how to supplement your Medicare benefits and what Medicare coverage will cost, plus any financial assistance that may be available.

Program will be held at Penn State Health St. Josephs Medical Center, Rt. 183, 2494 Bernville Rd., Reading.
