Berks Encore is seeking a BeNourished Delivery Driver.  This is a Part-time position (2-3 days per week). Hourly pay: $15 – $18/hour (no benefits)

BeNourished is a medically tailored meal program developed for patients with a cardiac or diabetic diagnosis.

Job Summary:

Berks Encore is seeking a responsible driver with a clean driving record to assist in delivering prepared meals to BeNourished participants 3 days a week. The driver must be able to utilize their own vehicle when the company vehicle is not available. Their main priority will be picking up the meals from the designated grocery location, loading them into a refrigerated bag, then following the designated route to make sure each participant gets their meals as scheduled.

Summary of essential job duties:

  • Ability to follow directions and utilize a GPS.
  • A team player who can work with the other employees in the department.
  • Excellent time management skills to make each delivery on time.
  • A desire to learn and the flexibility to evolve with the company.
  • A professional demeanor while interacting with participants inside their homes.
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • A clean driving record and proof of valid auto insurance. Proof of valid driver’s license.
  • Access to a personal vehicle.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs, bend and transfer meal delivery bags into and out of a vehicle and carry them into a home.
