Berks Encore Unveils New Vehicle Wrap to Promote Critical Program for Seniors

Berks County, PA – In an exciting effort to raise awareness and strengthen community support, Berks Encore is unveiling a new vehicle wrap for its Meals on Wheels Berks County delivery vehicle. The eye-catching design showcases the vital role Meals on Wheels plays in supporting local seniors and promoting independence, one nutritious meal at a time.

“Our delivery vehicles are more than a mode of transportation—they’re a symbol of connection and care,” said LuAnn Oatman, President/CEO of Berks Encore. “This new wrap allows us to amplify the visibility of Meals on Wheels Berks County throughout the community while emphasizing the critical services we provide to older adults.”

Meals on Wheels Berks County delivers thousands of nutritious meals each year to homebound older adults who face challenges in accessing nutritious food. The program also provides vital wellness checks and a friendly face, making a meaningful difference in the lives of recipients.

“We hope the new vehicle wrap will spark conversations, inspire volunteerism, and encourage donations to sustain this essential service,” Oatman added. “As we drive through neighborhoods across Berks County, our message is simple: no senior in Berks County should feel forgotten.”

The Meals on Wheels Berks County program is partially funded by the Older Americans Act but relies heavily on local donations and community support to meet growing demands. Each meal delivered represents not only sustenance but also a commitment to helping seniors age with dignity and independence.
